Orthopedic Surgeon Englewood | Dr. Orlando V. Gonzalez, M.D. Dr. Orlando V. Gonzalez is a Sports Medicine prevention and injury specialist who is also board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez brings a unique perspective and approach to Sports Medicine care with his comprehensive understanding of Internal Medicine and its interaction with the musculoskeletal system.

Dr. Gonzalez graduated from The University of New Mexico with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and completed graduate studies in Neuroscience at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He then received his Medical degree from The College of Medicine and Health Sciences, where completed a year of study in London, England as an international medical student. Dr. Gonzalez completed his residency in Family Medicine with an emphasis in Orthopedics at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, where he was elected Chief of Academics in Family Medicine his third year. Dr. Gonzalez graduated from the Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey affiliate, Mountainside Hospital, in July of 2010.

Over the last four years, Dr. Gonzalez has served as team physician for several area high schools as well as part of the medical staff for the New York City Marathon. He was also a ringside physician, covering high profile fights such as the ‘Contender Series’ in Providence, Rhode Island.
